We don't change brake pads very often, but I can remember the change out being a little fussy - particularly if you don't want to disassemble the drive train. The trick is often getting the pads to stay in place while you try to get it bolted back up. I have resorted to using RTV on the back side of the pads to hold them in place. I also believe that you will need to be able to slide your brake disk - something that it may or may not want to do depending on the condition of the jackshaft. I will take a look in the manual to see if there is a step by step guide - Nope, the manual does not seem to have a step by step guide, but it does include a good exploded view of the chaincase and brake caliper. If you are a supporting member you should be able to check that out in the manuals section of the site.
