Title: 78 invader 440 crank case oil

What are you guys using for crank case oil/gear oil. thanks

I use 10W40 motor oil.

How much do you put in the crankcase? My sight glass I can’t really see much in it? Also on the top near the Fill bolt is that the overflow? That hole. Because I have  some oil coming out of that hole. Like maybe I’m over filling it. Thanks.

it only holds approx. 2 or 3 oz

If you use a small mirror while you fill it most of the time you can see when it gets the correct amount of oil.  I found that out the hard way.
