Any clue why this piece of wood was bolted onto the bulkhead? Also a few questions about the motor. When I bought the sled it ran fine and compression is equal on both sides at ~175. I'm going to split the case and replace the oil seals and I have a cheat sheet from someone on here on how to do it with the top end intact. I've got a rebuild kit for the fuel pump so I'm going to do that. I recall someone telling me somewhere on here a way to test the oil pump to see if it leaks but I can't remember exactly what they told me to do. Also is there any way to test the water pump?
