Heated visor kit.. best place to hook up?
« on: December 17, 2013, 06:26:05 PM »
I want to hook up my heated visor to the sled. I have a wiring kit.

There is a splice already made in the wiring to the tach. the splice is on the red and on the black wired feeding the tach....not the light for the tach. I connected it to that splice, and the visor isn't working very well. I do have the correct voltage coming out of the splice.

Where is the best place to connect the heated visor kit to on my '79 Invader.

I connected mine to the gauge light bulb wires.

Should work on any of the yellow wires.

Hook it to the lighting circuit.

I hooked it up to the light for the tach. Works great!
