Fired Up New Intruder

So we fired up the new Intruder.  The engine has an Invader bottom and the cylinders are sleeved with 10 over Wiseco pistons.  We fired the engine this week, ran it for a few minutes on pre-mix and found that we were running cool on the mag side.  PTO plug was white and clean, Mag plug was wet.  Carbs came off of another running Intruder - no changes to carbs during the swap.  We probably idled for about 5 minutes, exhaust temp measured  with  a IR gun was 400 on the PTO side and 200 on the Mag side.

All in all, I don't think that we have run it  enough to draw a conclusion, but I was a bit surprised at the difference in exhaust temp.

We picked up a little snow over night and as a result we might be able to take it for a few loops around the house today.

mag side is closer to the fan but.....that seems like a big difference...will it pull itself across the shop ok?

Check the jetting, seems like they are not the same on the 2 sides?

I always thought jetting was different on the carbs for the air cooled sleds. I could (and probably am) be incorrect. Try switching carbs left to right and see if it changes things.

We have not pulled it up to engagement speed yet.  Still checking and double checking everything.

For the carbs, all our Intruders are set up with 25 pilots, 150 mains and 120 powerjet on the mag side and 130 powerjet on the pto side.
