Title: crank question
Post by: Teherr on January 03, 2019, 06:22:03 AM
I am changing engine seals from 1980 liquifire T7 motor and which has a strange C spacer -see attached pic.  there was only one.  what is the purpose?  This was between one of the guide rings and a bearing.

Zip down to page 65 on the attachment....you will see that it is a shim that came in various thicknesses to adjust the endplay of the crankshaft.
