Title: Flywheel - Differences Between Intruder and Invader
Post by: mswyka on March 05, 2013, 11:53:47 AM
While I admit that I have not studied this, all flywheels look the same to me.  Does anyone know if there are any differences and whether or not I can interchange Invader and Intruder flywheels?

 Should be no problem.

I have used flywheels from T1 motors on T7 motors

Main difference is the gear for the starter on the electric start ones, otherwise the 340, 440 ,invader, and intruder use the same part number from what i have seen.

Well, I found out that the flywheel for the 80 LTD had a different ID than the flywheel on the 78 Invader.

I ran into that once on my 80 440 Drifter.

I think it was an 80 thing.

I put a stator and flywheel of a 79 Intruder on my Drifter and it worked fine
