Electric water temp guage
« on: August 27, 2021, 12:50:29 AM »
Might be a stupid question, but I'm wanting to put an electric water pump gauge on my sled, but it needs a 12v source, do you guys know of any way to make this work without a battery. If someone has done it with a battery, was it difficult, im not against it but simplicity is better.
Thankyou in advance

Why use an electric gauge?  I've had really good luck with the Bosch aftermarket temp gauges.

To use my large automotive tach on the Intimidator, I added a voltage regulator with rectifier from an e-start sled and a small lead acid battery.  It's not ideal, but it works.

My original reason is because you can hide wires alot easier than a line but maybe simpler is better.
