For the 81-82 LTD, where do I find the bearing for the mag end? Book number 92045-3006, bearing number EC-R-6206/65C4. Called largest bearing Manufacture, said good luck, is a dealer bearing only.

I have heard they can be hard to find.

Here is an interesting read.... ;)
Would any "good" 6206-C4 bearing work?.....dunno.

I wonder if it would be worth a call to the folks at www.thecrankshopvt.com
They show some 6206-C4 bearings used in some SkiDoos.
If anyone knows crankshaft bearings....I would think they may be able to help.

That post on vintage sleds is very interesting, being a machinist, I understand. I will call The Crank Shop, see what info I get. Thanks.

Crank Shop, says they have one, under a Ski Doo number, witch should work. About 30.00 plus ship.
-
Just one?
-
Yep.

Good...it would be cool if it has a Bombardier or Rotax Part # for the bearing you could post....if it works for your LTD.
It looks like several years of the liquid Rotax 583 engine used a 6206 C-4 crank bearing.

I know 4 crank shops one for sure has done this bottom end including the interceptors the others are very well known crank shops here in Mn if you have the bearing or bearings or the crank they all can get it. I'd be glad to share the information if needed

Crankshaft Services did my Interceptor cranks, which included replacing all of the crank bearings. http://www.jdsleds.com/ads/crankshaft/cs.html Give them a call, I'm sure Jerome can hook you up.
The only bearing I could never find was the rod bearing...

Found one, local Arctic Cat dealer had one, in a Suzuki box, with cat number on.
