if the jackshaft is worn[tapered]were the clutch opens it lets the coupler flex, not good for the coupler, i take a new bushing and slide it down the shaft to check

the kawi clutch isnt bad it just didnt have one. Its all a custom build the only thing I got that's kawi is the tunnel belly pan and hood. I'm putting a suzuki motorcycle engine in it, Skidoo mxz ifs, and polaris m10 slide rail. But I'm still running a snowmobile clutch. I have skidoo drive but I think the skidoo tunnel is narrower then the kawi.

Lol...   bad luck!  Just replace your bushings and wear shoes and you'll be fine.  The biggest benefit to changing your secondary would be for a helix profile change (multi angle helix) for a better shift out...  or converting to 1 3/8 from 1 1/4" belt width for increased efficiency and/or top speed.  Stock helix is 35 deg.  The steeper the angle 44 vs. 34 deg the harder the shift out and the 34 on top keeps the Rpms where they need to be.

Tory944; Where kan i find a 44/34 helix?
Where does the white go when the snow melts :-))

Tory 994, where do you find such a helix or have you done it yourself?
