Parting out '80 Invader
« on: January 11, 2014, 03:10:57 PM »
Hi Guys,
I have this '80 Invader that I was going to rebuild, but it's now stripped down to nothing and I doubt I'll ever get it back together.  So I am going to part it out.  All items OBO, plus shipping.

Good:
Engine seems to be in good shape.  Has compression and spark.  $100
Carbs $50 (I have not opened these up yet, I'll take a look before selling them)
Track $50
Dash $20
Fuel tank $20
Hood - in pretty good shape but painted silver (like an LTD) Probably too big to ship and be affordable.
Pan - has minor damage and is faded.  Probably also pretty expensive to ship

No good:
Clutch is seized in the closed position
Seat
Any metal part on this sled was pretty rusted
Suspension no good
Skis rusted away

E-mail me at mattspiece@gmail.com.  Thanks Kawasakitrax!  I still want to own a Kawasaki so I've got my eye on another Invader.

I also have:
Oil tank
Secondary Clutch
Primary & Secondary for an Intruder
Dash and gauges for Intruder

The parts removed from the engine were to inspect the seals and pistons.  I have everything for it.  Photos here:

How's the storage compartment(complete unit) in the seat? If it's good and not broke, may be interested.Check it out and get back to me. Thanks
