While hardly pristine, I opted for one of the tracks that had all of its track clips. It is now freshly studded and as soon as I can pick up a new bearing it should be going back in the sled. The skid has been checked out and I am replacing the rear upper suspension mounting shaft. The shaft itself does not look bad, however the shape of the track loop is odd so I pulled another one. So, with a new drive shaft, new suspension shaft, new bearing and new track, if the problem repeats itself i will at least know it is none of those things.
