removing hand grips

  I need to replace my throttel so what is the trick to remove the grips or is it easer to cut them off and buy new

I use and air blow gun to pop them off.

move the throttle lever away from the grip. put an adjustable wrench next to the grip set just slightly larger than the bar. hit the adjustable with a hammer and knock the grip off.

Glad you got them off.

A secret of mine is to spray Aqua Net hair spray with a screwdriver forcing a small space.  I shove the screw driver on the top side and spray the hair spray such that it runs down and in the grip.

The grip comes off with some wiggling.  Back on the grip gets a squirt down the grip and she slips right back on.  Best it holds the grip on well.
