Title: 81 Drifter

There is a spring 18.25 inches long, that goes from carb to air silencer. Where does it hook up? These Drifters are new to me.

I check 5 Drifters and only 1 of them had this spring.

So it goes carb, around silencer, back to carb. Makes sense. Thank You. Happy Thanksgiving to all. By the books, I believe only the 81 has that spring.

My 79 Has it that way as well.

they all should have that spring.....
