Hey guys, quick question.. anybody know or have a rough estimate for a main jet on a single carb 300, gotta sled in the shop (whos brand shall not be named as it is not a kawi) that has a single carb on a 300 motor. The carb that came off of it is a 36mm but not anything similar to the newer 36mm carb I am swapping on. Just like to know if anybody has a suggestion for a main jet. Thanks - Ameritude

Not something I have played with.

Is it a single cylinder 300 or a twin cylinder 300?
If twin cylinder 300 perhaps jetting similar to single carb 340cc Drifter? The 1980 manual that i was looking at showed a No 200 main with a 90 econojet. So single jet size would be about 290.
I was just looking at a Skidoo manual and see that they were jetting a single carb 277cc at 220 and a single carb 377cc at 280
Based on this, for a twin cylinder 300cc engine, I would guess a jet sized 250 +/- 20 for a single carb.
