... On my 78 Invader 340. Nice, rather surprising, acceleration in a nimble little package.
It's nice to get some snow so I could get out for a ride before I perish in 11 days in that whole Mayan Dec 21 2012 end of days thing. It's true! Gotta be true....I seen it on the TV...and TV never lies!
Anyway, all is well on the Invader, would be better with the brake pads installed. Should get on that soon!
Cheers.

those 340's were a quick lil machine!! Not much of a top end but you sure got there fast!!

I got my Invader out for the first ride of the season. Also rode my MXZ for the first time after the engine rebuild. Short rides, but it was fun!

Wow!, looks tiny next to the mxz. Tiny and sleek. I like the black tunnel, very sharp!!!
Cheers!

Gawd I love how kawi's look fast sitting still...
Great looking machine, next time leave the bomb out... lol j/k j/k
I live around a lot of doo guys!

If Kawasaki still made sleds, I wouldn't have a DOO. But a Kawi as a daily driver just doesn't cut it. Especially on those long rides on the bumpy trails. An I "doo" like the 130HP with stump pulling torque of the rotary valve 670! When it comes to vintage, I love my Kawi's. But for modern sleds, its DOO all the way!

Not fair comparing a 1979 sled to a 2013 sled now is it???
Still considering that they can even come close to running with the newer pack, they are quite an advanced sled for their time. 34 years is a long time for a snowmobile!!

I'm just not a fan on any sled that can't float through a 6 foot deep drift.
My buddy has a mach 1 X and she's fast alright, but it doesn't float at all!

I DOO hear ya tho, they groom trails for all these sleds that 4 guys have a hard time lifting up!
