Intruder information/specs wanted
« on: March 09, 2013, 11:35:24 PM »
Hey guys, I have a couple questions on the Intruders. Which year was rated the highest horsepower? How much hp? Are these chrome bore or steel bore cylinders? What size carbs came on the Intruders? What is the listed factory weight of these sleds? Are any years/models lighter then and other years? Thanks in advance.

Hey Dale,
Chrome bore and 32mm powerjet carbs.  78 was the lightest with a 365 lb listed dry weight, 79 - 380, 80 - 430, 81/82 - 425.  Pretty sure the 81/82 had the highest hp rating at around 52 hp or so.  Now what, another idea for a new drag sled?  ;D
