Secondary clutch Problems
« on: March 07, 2014, 02:36:10 PM »
I'm new to the forum and I would like some information on how to put the secondary clutch back together on my basket case 1979 Invader 440.  Any information or breakdown would be appreciated.  Thanks boot5

Get a friend to help hold the fixed sheave while you push the helix down and hold it just above the cam pads while turning the movable sheave to where you want it. Then push the helix down to hold the sheaves in place while your friend installs the circlip on the shaft.

Or, get the holder so you can do it yourself.

Thanks for the information but what about the arrows and holes for the spring?  all 3 pieces have a arrow and the hub have 1 and 2  and the other piece have a b and c. Where does the spring go?  Thanks boot5

Sorry, forgot to mention that all the arrows have to be in alignment.
