Quote from page 3-61 of the 1980 manual: "CAUTION - Hole in insulator block is tapered. To prevent air leakage between insulator block and carburetor holder, position small end of hole towards carburetor holder during installation"

Thanks for that.
I could not find that info anywhere in the 1978 or 1979 manual
. This is the intuitive orientation, but they were on the other way around previously so I was second guessing it. They are now on the right way!
