Title: The weirdest thing...
Post by: gixxer6 on February 09, 2018, 12:43:32 PM
I grabbed a good used key switch off from the shelf to install in the Intimidator and found something unusual while cleaning it.  The switch itself is stamped "31" so you can imagine my surprise when I saw the "24" stamped on the key itself.  My first thought was that the key would fit in the slot but not turn.  But it does.  It works perfectly.  I thought the key # had to match the switch #.  What am I missing???

I don't think your missing anything, it is just an unusual thing that happens, I had something similar happened to me, with a car key. Guy was at a car wash and locked his keys in the while it was rung. I just happen to have the same kind of car and tried my key to open it,well it some how worked.

Back in the early 70's my dad and uncle both had 1967 Galaxy 500's where the keys worked in both cars.
