VM 340 carburetor elevation compensation for jetting. 4500' elevation, 0-30C temperature. The #260 came standard. I also have a #250 and #240. I'm interested in the Amal type jet. I'm looking for an elevation correction chart like I have for my Bing carb. Actually, My Bing Correction Chart should work. 4500' elevation, 30C-40C has a correction factor of 0.94 = 244 and 10C-15C a correction factor of 0.96 = 250. Anyone have the full part numbers for these, 244 and 250, or whatever sizes are close, in the Amal style?

Welcome to the site!  Someone here will have some insight into this.

Disregard the jetting questions. I do have the BING ELEVATION CORRECTION CHART if anyone wants me to post it. Today I am looking for the part or part number for the spark plug wire closest to the ignition coil. On my installation it is the forward cylinder. I'm also looking for the part or part number for the carburetor boot.

Interceptor 398, I went to your link. First, I'm not actually sure which sled model I have. I have printed the Quick Reference Guide for the SA340-A1/ SA440-A1. The Torque Chart says the intake manifold with 4 short bolts and two long. What I have is six bolts, haven't removed them to check length. The picture in the manual looks like the picture in the link you sent. My Manifold looks to be made out of a hard black plastic. The manifold/boot interface is round, 43mm. The manifold is not straight but angled at 30 degrees, with the outside of the boot on the air filter end at 38mm on the inside. Any idea?
