I'm having a problem with the headlight burning out when I rev the engine up. I'm thinking voltage regulator? Any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds like the voltage regulator. Could just be a bad ground on the regulator, but for the price of the regulator, it is not worth taking chances.

Thanks. I have one on the way.

I received a new voltage regulator and it didn't work. The one on the left is original equipment and on the right is the new one that is supposed to fit Kawasaki's but it doesn't. The part number was 01-154-33. Just an FYI.

can you show a photo of the face of the plugs?

It almost looks like an Arctic Cat regulator, but I double checked, and it's supposed to be for Kawasaki.

So the plug looks correct, but the wires do not seem to enter the same and when you plug it in it does not work correctly?
This is the one that I have been buying:

That's the exact one I ordered, but as you said it is not wired the same. Put one on from another Kawasaki and everything worked just fine. I'm at a loss.
