Been offered an 81 440 Drifter fan cooled. Runs, good condition, no windshield, missing tac. Any guess to value?

I paid $350 for mine.  It is in nice shape and starts easy.

Around here an 81 440 Drifter is pretty rare. The dealers still had lots of 1980 models so they did not order many 1981 models.  If It was in good shape and just needed a windshield it would trade for $750 to $1000 Canadian depending on cosmetics.

 I have an 80 that we got new when I was a teenager. The upgrades to the 81 would make it a very nice sled.
