Posted a few pics on my website of the Sabbatus Radar runs.  Video coming soon.

I know this is not a Merc S/T site, but the 75' Merc Free Air that I ran would have done awesome, if the clutch hadn't come apart...  Arctic Hex clutch.  In fairness to this sled...  the radar gun doesn't lie.  I ran this sled on the "snow track" for 1000 ft.  There was a considerable amount of bog off the line and no studs.  I had to shut the sled down at aprox. 800 ft and coast through the finish.  This thing ran 74.8 mph!  The motor had some port work, but running stock pipes, gearing and carburetors!  Free Air 440...  makes you wonder what it would have turned in 1000.  Hmmmm.

I'm a big fan of Comet 102C clutches. They are so tunable for vintage machines where you don't need and can't benefit from the overdrive of the larger diameter newer drive clutches. They will use Polaris weights also which gives you lots of tuning options if you want more aggressive clutch tuning.
