Those pistons started life as jet ski piston # 13001-2094 ( I have a couple ) and had the pin hole reamed to 18mm.  They work if the ring material is matched to the bore material.  Is it correct the these are the ones Image enterprises sells??

I have wondered how they work so it is nice to know someone who is running them.  I have been collecting 550 jet ski pistons for a few years now when the price is right.  There are 3 PN's for standard size 550 jet ski pistons.  One of them is the exact same casting as the 13001-3021. The ring style and pin location and wrist pin size are the differences. I currently have a couple sets of all the PN's but have 8 sets of the  1 number.  All I need is some time to make them up ( it is good to be busy ) so the only difference will be the top ring will not be the Dykes style. It could be but that is to much fartin around.  But alas, like all things, talk is cheap.  Good luck to us all!!! ;D
