1980 intruder compression

Hi I checked my compression it was 145 pto 125 mag does this sound right? Would a seal cause this I guess I should pull the head etc to check to see for damage thanks.

125 is on the low end but still OK.  The difference between the two is a bit of a concern.

Thanks 398 it starts and idles ok never drove it last year had to replace the jackshaft etc maybe I'll stick a piston in it and gasket set the pto is fine I belueve know anyone who has a 1980 intruder piston laying around I can buy it also needs a primer just the plunger. Thanks

What's wrong with Pistons you have now?
If no one on here has a piston or primer, there are some on eBay.   You can sometimes get lucky and find them cheap.   I think I may have some used oem nice Pistons.   You would have to check your size and make sure you have original piston/ring size and go from there.   Pm if interested in a nice used piston And I'll see what I have for sure.   -Mike

The FSM states that minimum compression is 90 psi...  I'd worry more that there is such a big difference between the two...

Thanks for the replies I got a bunch of used ones from arts parts two were good but he gave me all for ten bucks! My sled had no head gaskets in it I'll get those in today I soaked the primers in amsiol power foam they work great now! Yahoooo
