Resistor Plug Ends
« on: February 07, 2014, 05:55:15 PM »
Is there any reason that the plug wires have resistor ends at the plugs? Other than some sort of noise suppression, I can't see why resistors are there, especially with resistor plugs. I'm asking because I have a broken plug connector, and I just want to swap in a regular plug end.

Thanks Lloyd. I didn't think it would be an issue, I'm just making sure :)

you can have problems if you have resistor ends on the cable and then use resistor plugs. You end up with too much resistance and it weakens the spark.
