A registry of any known Interceptor complete, in boxes or parted out + motor serial # and date of build. If you prefer to stay "some what" anonymous list only the sled number and state or country. If you have a 550 motor also post the serial #. As time goes by the hope is to have an idea of how many of these special sleds are alive or have hope.
-
I will start this. I have # 398 complete and running maybe an 8.5 sled. Also # 415 in boxes but I have found most of the parts so there is hope for # 415.
-
I have 000507 and motor 000535 located in Delano,MN just put it for sale in the classifeds
-
I have numbers 128, 200 and 245.
Two have been "tunneled" and have paddle tracks, one is stock with ice picks on track. The stock one ran the grass drag circuit for many years and never lost a race.
All ran a few years ago but have been setting since my surgery.
These along with many other Kawasaki sleds, parts and other Kawasaki items will be up for sale soon. What doesn't sell will be auctioned off.

I have 123, it's rough I got it 5 years ago, but it's moving up on the to do list.
-
Thanks! I started an Excel spread sheet on 9/23/2009 with names places and conditions and never really made it public. I posted the list here a couple years ago and the list ended up on another site as "the original list". After seeing that I pulled the list down but kept adding to it as the sleds surface. I figured I could post just the numbers here without revealing to much info and it has helped a few more sleds get added to the list. For anyone who would prefer to not have their info public just PM me and I will add your sled to the list but only publish the number here.
Thanks
-
I'd like to be on this list but nobody wants to sell these things lol.
-
307 showed up at Braapfest and the owner claims to be working on 204. They have been added to the list thanks to Shawn for getting the info!
-
I have number 558 in real good condition and fully original...
-
The list includes the build date and motor # for anyone who has that info. Thanks
-
I still have #366, it is STILL "being restored". I'm hoping to get back to it next fall.
I no longer have #553, it was a real nice runner that I sold to a gentleman in Canada.
-
#471 was on the Friday trail ride at Braapfest.
-
Picked up #229 under reconstruction now with motor #230. Looking for a set of piston and rings. Just placed replaced crank seals, now wanting to put top end together.
Did these sleds come juice brakes?
Any info will help.
Thanks Sledder

601 has been added. It was common knowledge that 601 was in Eagle River and for sale. It now has a new home.

It's there.
-
#204 was at Braapfest restored with original carbs and electric start. I have heard of a couple with electric start before but this is the 1st one I have seen in person. It would not be hard to convert if you have a donor LTD to get the parts from. 204 did the Friday trail ride along with nearly 40 sleds. I think it was 39 sleds total.

Hello fellow Kawi fans. My first post here.
I am 50 years old and have been through many things. There is one thing that make me more sad than anything else and that is the fact that my old Interceptor that I had for 14 years was buried as any other trash. I bought it 1991 and it was stored at a farm close to my home. When new owners bought the farm they buried it with other things.
Only two Interceptors came to Iceland. One burned in a garage burn almost new but mine survived till 2005. The reason that I parked it was that it burned a piston that was impossible to find at that time here in Iceland so I got it stored at the farm hoping that one day I would find a piston. When that happened the sled was gone.
I would give a lot to get back my all time favorite #000007.
Regards from Iceland.
