Folks:
Good morning. I have just a couple of Low Black Windscreens for Invader, Intruder, and Interceptor. We ended up with a bad batch of raw material so these windscreens have some minor scuff marks. They are 60 mil polyethylene and virtually indestructible. They are available first come, first serve while the supply lasts for $40 shipped in the continental US.
We live in hope that we can get a supply of clean, unscratched raw material in the near future so that we can re-stock with Invader/Intruder and LTD screens.
Feel free to e-mail at mark.swyka@frontiernet.net
Thanks
Mark

I have one and love it. My kids couldn't break it when they used to borrow my sleds. ;D

Makes me want to get an Invader just so I could get another one of these windscreens! Got one for the 340 I rebuilt and it fit perfectly! I will most likely get another one for my 4/6 once they are available as it will fit better than the fiberglass one I have now. No gaps in the corners, no scratching of the hood either since it is a softer material.
I know you can't see through it but who is short enough to use the low windscreen anyhow. An exceptional product!!
-
Jim, thank you. Hope to get to those 4/6 screens soon.
-
For anyone debating getting one of these windshields, they are very sharp! Mark does a nice job on these to make sure they fit right, plus like everyone else mentioned, they are very durable. They're definitely worth the price!

Tom, Jim & Mike: Thanks for endorsements. Keep on sledding.
Our snow here in NY is waning and the kids have gone back to school so I am taking orders on a first come, first serve basis for a limited run of LTD windscreens - a total of 6 or 7. $60 includes shipping within the continental US.

OK, need one for the 4/6. Tired of the poor fit of the fiberglass one. Thought you didn't have any.

I don't know what looks prettier, the windscreen or the snow on the ground. Sure wish we had more snow down here. Happy sledding.

Well it is true that I make some parts - mostly out of necessity - but this is only a hobby, not a business. The only parts that I have been fabricating are black windscreens and suspension lift brackets. If you check around the site you will find that there are many of us with resources for different Kawasaki sled parts - used, NOS and aftermarket. Mostly we are just finding creative ways to keep our own sleds running and to the extent that we are able, to help out others with a passion for these old machines.

Send me a PM with your name and address and how many you would like. We may still be able to get a few more out before the end of the season.

How much are they?
-
I will take one please when they are ready

How much are they?
They usually run about $50. My biggest challenge of late is the cost of shipping. Shipping can add 50% to the cost. And shipping to Canada is outrageous.
I stress that these windscreens are for everyday riding sleds, they are not for show sleds. For the show sled it is better to get NOS or fiberglass. The great things about these windscreens are that they are flexible (even in the coldest temperatures), are unbreakable, and they cannot be damaged by fuel or cleaners.

New supply of material arrived and as of this evening we have 10 LTD windscreens started.

A couple of windscreens still available.

A few LTD windscreens are available. And unlike so many other things that have been affected by inflation the windscreens are still $60 + shipping.
