  hi should anti seize be used on the shaft and what should it be torqued at thanks

  Yes, use anti seize and 70 ft/lbs.  Most importantly, check for burrs, rust, ect on the end of the crankshaft taper.  Most people overlook this, but all it takes is a small nick "raised metal" to hang the primary up upon removal.  Needs to be smooth!  Emery cloth and a finger is all it takes.

I disagree.  I NEVER use anything on the taper.  It is a friction fit, and anti seize will reduce friction.  The manual states:  "Tapers must be clean and dry." 

I do use a little on the threads of the clutch bolt.

I clean clutch bore and crank taper with an emery cloth, then I wipe 'em with wd-40, and install.  Grease or heavy lube may prevent taper from fully seating resulting in a possible flying clutch assy!
