Title: Need a bit of help getting my 79 Invader 440 dialed in
Post by: mikesnowman on January 08, 2018, 06:41:14 PM
Ok, tore the entire thing out and replaced crank seals. Also cleaned the carbs really well. I used to work with mikunis on my Tcat but these are a bit different? Anyway on a bench with the belt off there is a bog from idle. If you pump it a bit it comes out of it and it seems to run ok high end. (i have not had this thing on snow yet), I would like to see the bog go away. I have synched the carbs, and will pull exhaust pipe off to see if its plugged as well as the airbox. I will also remove chokes and make sure those are not hanging up.  shouldn't this be related to the air screw and pilot? I have not yet checked  that but just wanted a bit of feedback
thanks in advance
