Title: adding grease zerk to speedo housing??

I own 2 78 intruders... Both have seized drive axle bearings that are in the speedo housing.. Both are very rust as well.. is there a way to tap the housing and add a grease zerk? Anyone else have this issue?

Those bearings are supposed to be sealed bearings so I am not sure that greasing will make much of a difference as far as the bearing goes.

Never had that problem, must have sat for a long time?
