I have tried to find a rebuild kit for the old style dual outlet mikuni pumps. I found a few threads on this and I know some guys were using rebuild kits with a slight mod to make the anti-siphon valve work. I tried following the link to parts reloaded but the kit is no longer available. Does anyone know where to find them? I dont even know what model fuel pump the old invaders had (1980 Invader 440.) Is it the DF52? I did find some rebuild kits at New Breed Parts and Psep, although psep sells 2 different kits for the DF52 pump, http://www.psep.biz/store/fuel_pump_repair_kits.htm will either one of these work with the mod for the anti-siphon valve?
I did get a new style pump but I hate that thing, space is already so tight without having to add a shut off valve and having that stupid pump just hanging out zip tied away from the jackshaft.

Have not bought too many kits lately, but the kits we have purchased all have the attached tag.
I will add also that we have always run a new style pump on our 440 Invader with no issue. The pump is installed on posts set on the stock bolts with inlet side down.

Hmm, installing it with the inlet side down so it fits on the posts hadnt occurred to me. perhaps I will give it a shot. Thanks for the tip.

Seems like those kits have been on Ebay a lot.
