Alright guys... most of us have been here before... ever pay for a sled and then the seller changes his mind after the sale? Long story short... Pat Callahan just called me from Canada to tell me that the Interceptor he purchased from Mike Thomas in PA is apparently being sold to a higher bidder... after the $$ was sent! Well, isn't that typical of today's society! Needless to say, SHADY and downright UNETHICAL. I just wanted to tell the story as this really "hit a nerve" with me and Pat is extremely upset. Interceptor # 303. Mike Thomas from Pa = NOT COOL. >:(
It's not so much about the sled, but a man's word...

Unreal...as you said...This is becoming much too "typical" nowadays. :'(
-
That is completely nuts......bet the seller wouldn't have done that in person...!!!
As we say here in Quebec '' Je me souviens''....
-
Ya, and the seller didn't have the balls to call him... just sent him a text message! WTF
-
Yep, what goes around comes around sooner or later.

With all the views one can only hope the seller reads this and learns a bit about common courtesy. Obviously, he was never taught Karma.

I've had similar things happen. Usually with people well under 30. Hopefully they come to learn you are as only as good as your word

I just spoke with the buyer and after threatening the seller with a lawsuit, he ended up with the sled. Once the seller cashed the check... that was considered a "binding contract". Ya think?? Number 303 is now getting a resto and went to a good home! ;)

Do we know what state 303 went to?
