Post by: Tory944 on March 03, 2015, 02:10:27 PM
Well, you've come to the right place! ;D

Had mine out on a perfectly FLAT hard packed, well groomed railroad bed...   1/2 mile long.  GPS = 51.3 mph

SO THERE YOU HAVE IT!  (Fun little sled)       ;)

;D    My sentiments, exactly, Tory. Gilson makes garden tractors and stump grinders or sumthin, don't they? Just kidding, Gilson435, I see some of your stuff over on Vintagesleds. Good stuff!

Lol...   I purposely bought the Gilson because I wanted something to race in the one lunger class.  I figured nobody would be foolish enough to race a Gilson.  I would surely be the underdog!  Furthermore, the one lunger race (for me) is just "for fun" and will surely get a few laughs from the crowd.  Lots of Sno Jets and Arctic Cats, but nothing quite as nasty as a double headlighted microwave on skis.
