I have been doing a little research on 2 stroke oil and came across a pretty well written article.

 That is a LOT better info than I have read elsewhere...I was aware of the ammonia smell common to ashless oils.
  One of my jet skis is a '97 Sea Doo XP with the type 787 rave valve motor. This article tells me I should bite the bullet and pay a bit more to use the Bombardier XPS lube....with a lot of good evidence.
  Thanks for sharing this find.....sure beats some of the rants and chest pounding I have read on some sites when the "best oil" topic comes up.  ;D 8)
