Title: 1980 intruder bent steering arm?
Post by: wisc79intruderguy on September 20, 2015, 07:12:02 PM
Hello again I was taking my skies and spindles out to clean and lube them they needed it! My question is the steering arm supposed to be bent right in the middle. The front of the belly pan was cracked at one time but I repaired it last fall. Thanks for any help

A picture of what you are looking at would be helpful.  If it is what I think it is the answer is yes if the handle bar is attached to it.

The steering shaft has a wahoo in the middle, but the two steering arms should both be straight.

Like mswyka said, the steering shaft from the handle bars to the frame should have a bend in it.  The other shafts should be straight.
