I found this yesterday and decided that along with the mantra of crank seals, crank seals, crank seals - that one can never assume that a 35 year old assembly does not have any problems just because one has not yet manifested itself.
In the process of rebuilding this particular 4/6 skid this wheel mount looked solid enough, but when i started to loosen the bolts it became clear that even though it looked ok, in truth it was not. Once again I am grateful for the advice that "the long way is the short way"
