Title: Going to pick up my 79 invader today

Hello all just sold my intruder to finance my next kawi lol this one has 1900 miles on it its in pretty good shape still has the grouser bar track but I'm getting a new track with it carbs have been cleaned suspension torn down shafts etc greased we'll see what happens pics will follow

Ended up not buying it got a good deal on a newer sled a ski doo formula plus

Yellow??  They break too.  Did the Intruder stay close?  I have an Elan 250 twin, all there but a stuck motor.

 I'll bet you will love the Formula plus....I enjoy the heck out of my '97 MXZ 670....effortless power and great suspension.....but the good, ol' Invader remains my favorite. :D

What year Plus? I had an 87 Plus with over 10,000 miles! I really liked that sled on the river! It's the Corvette of snowmobiles...handles like it's on rails on the flat twisties but not so great for ditch bangin :P

I had a 91 Mach1 15 years ago.  I loved it, but like Gilson435 said, it was not much fun on the bumps  :-\.  My Brother bought a brand new ZRT600 and wasn't very happy that his nice new Cat kept getting beat by an old Doo...   8)
