I never took the ring gear off.  I will take a look at the manual and see if we have some flywheels in the garage.

Took a look at the manual - no mention.  And unfortunately the only flywheels in the garage are Invader flywheels.

I learned that flywheel ring gear needs to be heated then placed on fly wheel and allowed to cool.. I put it on stove coil

How hard, or easy was it to install the ring gear without heat?  My sense is that you don't need a very tight fit to have enough grip to spin over the engine.  Your sled does have electric start, yes?  All our Intruders had the gear whether or not they had electric start.

it was impossible for me to install w/o heat.. It was a day set back because I paid 25$ to have pros pull flywheel and ring was off when got motor back. I didn't even know what it was for or where it went, til I read some and watched a video.. no electric start. so I don't know if I need to have it. but my guess is yes..

I can tell you exactly what your "Pros" did to separate it.  They didn't take the fan housing off before they tried to pull it.  I made the same mistake with the first Kawasaki engine I tore apart from an Arctic Cat lol.  Indentations are for pins that were staked in.
