Title: kawasaki invader rod bearings
Post by: Tanner on January 29, 2016, 01:21:36 PM
Does anybody know where i can get the bottom bearings for the connecting rods for my kawasaki invader 340? I see a lot of wrist pin bearings for the top but nothing for the bottom.

Being that the crank must be pressed apart to replace the rod bearing and Invader cranks are relatively plentiful, most guys opt to swap in a good used crank rather than replacing a rod or inner crank bearing.

I am unsure about the Invader cranks, but last time I had crank work done on an Interceptor/LTD crank the rod bearings were not available.  I would suggest contacting Jerome at Crankshaft Services to inquire.

Jerome was an Endro Team Deere (factory race team) tech and race sled builder in the mid 70's, Liquidator & later Liquifire I-500 days.  The last I heard he was getting out of the crankshaft rebuilding business.  Please correct me if I am wrong.
