Title: 1981 440 invader Brake disc
Post by: NDHICK on December 13, 2012, 04:24:51 PM
I have a loose brake disc on my invader and cant see how to tighten it. Is there a way to do this without removing the whole shaft? I would appreciate any help.

Thank you. I was concerned because of the amount of chatter I am hearing from it. It slides but it also turns an 1/8 of the way around the shaft.

My 81 Invader will make a little chatter mostly just after using the brake.  It sounds like your may have a little extra play than normal.

Thanks for your help. I bought this for something cheap to ride but with seeing a lot of pics where they have been restored I think i have a summer project next year.
