Title: I just picked up an ultrasonic cleaner
Post by: mswyka on February 12, 2024, 01:35:22 PM
Good afternoon. I Just picked up an ultrasonic cleaner and I am looking forward to cleaning up as many parts as I can.

As a newbie to owning an ultrasonic cleaner, I would like to know what to use for fluid.

Appreciate all input.

Thank you.

I've had a Lyman Turbo Sonic 6000 for 3 years now and it does a good job.  They have different formulas depending on what you are cleaning or a good dish soap for some things but don't add to much.

Ultra sonic cleaners are awesome!    I use water usually. If the part is greasy I will add some simple green

When you say "don't add too much"  How much is too much?

Lloyd, good evening.  You make it sound very simple.  It should be easy enough for me to start with water.
