Monday was a great day - calm, clear and cool. A perfect day to pull our collection of sleds out of sleepy summer storage and move them to Camp. A little fresh fuel and a squirt or two of starting fluid and I am pleased to report that they all ran onto the trailer under their own power. Driving through the Adirondacks of New York it was great to see a little snow on the ground - a hinting to what we hope is yet to come.

That is a good start!

Sleds are back in summer storage. Oh well. Snow is mostly gone but we at least saw a few piles of snow as we drove through the Adirondacks. The largest and most impressive pile was at the base of the ski jump hill in Lake Placid.

You had a way better sledding season than we did here.
