Post by: invader 440 on January 30, 2013, 04:40:05 PM
Well i think i narowwed the problems down now. The compression is pretty low on one side. i was looking at oem pistons and the ones at shade tree list ones but they are for 80-81 invader 440's. what is the difference between the pistons or will they work? Thanks.

As far as I know all Invaders used the same piston.  The 4/6 is a little different in that the ring gaps are in different locations.

Just ordered 2 sets of new 4/6 pistons for $65.00 CND each + shipping. Couldn't find them anywhere till I called a sled wreaking yard down the road. Not sure if that is reasonable or not.
