i know my manual says to use dexron2 ATF........what does everyone else use?

ATF, it's easy to get and it works.

Any automatic transmission fluid will work well.

on a side note,,, i had a semi-rusty sticky chain in a parts sled i bought (they must've ran it dry cuz there was chunks of tensioner in the case)...
when i broke a chain in the 340,,, i didnt have a spare besides that one... so i soaked the chain in a 50/50 mix of ATF and acetone for a day... this free'd it up pretty good so i decided i'd try it with klotz...
a couple weeks later when i broke the driveshaft (limiter strap bolt broke and rail-stabbed the track) i drained the case & took the cover off... low and behold,,, the chain looked and acted like it was brand new...
that sold me on klotz
