Trying to piece back the wiring. Got an intruder missing the cdi box and the ground wire to the stator was burned up. I took off the stator and replaced it with a used one, not sure if the used one is good all I did was a couple continuity tests. I also added a used cdi box unsure if it works or not. I made a rookie mistake and didnt write down what color wire plugs into the grey 5 place grey socket, pretty sure I have that right. The wiring coming out of the coil is stripped, just some of it seems mickey moused and colors just dont match up to the colors on the cdi box, I have a couple coils, the aftermarket has 4 wires coming out, 2 being blue. The used cdi box and coils I have are from a 78 or 79 intruder 440.
An actual pic of the wiring would be great but I know how to read actual wiring diagrams.

Only have the 78 - 80 wiring diagrams but it might help you since the 80 diagram shows the electric start:
