Title: Question for anyone with a 1982 LTD shop manual
Post by: shizznats on August 26, 2013, 01:40:19 PM
Just a quick question for anyone who has a shop manual for the 1982 LTD. What is the stock driven clutch spring setting? The only shop manual available on kawasakitrax is the 1981 version and the primary clutch spring/ramps are different in there so I suspect the driven clutch setting may be different as well (its B-2 on the 1981 LTD). Thanks!

Thanks jskal; so it's hole 2 on the helix. Do you know what hole in the fixed sheave the other end of the spring goes in? There are three holes there... A, B, and C. Thanks!

It didnt up shift as fast in the b2 setting and i like the c1 because it seemed to get a really nice upshift at about 45mph that would lay you back a bit, wife didnt like it so i put it back to stock setting.
