Title: Invader rear suspension wheel size
Post by: nickw on October 31, 2013, 08:23:23 AM
Pulled the rear skid out on my '80 invader project last night.  Looks like almost all the bearings are shot on all the wheels.  Can anyone point me in a good direction for finding replacements?  What size should I be looking for?  Also noticed it has the three wheels on the back but a rubber track.  Do I need to convert to a 4 wheel setup?

The 4 wheel setup was used on the suspensions that were changed out from the original tracks that tended to throw cleats out the back. If you use the 3 wheel setup, you may not be able to get the track tightened up enough. The 4 wheel setup used slightly larger wheels.

Well got the rear ski almost back together.  Ended up reusing all the wheels and replacing just the bearings and inserts.

All the wheels use a 6205-2rs bearing and 3/4" inserts.
