Title: Carb O - Rings
Post by: 58Evinrude on March 28, 2014, 03:39:30 PM: Does anyone know what size these are? I'm talking about the little guys that go into the bottom of the carbs on a 440 Intruder.

Mikuni part number BV3204

Newbreedparts.com has them.

Any small engine shop should be able to get them

BV32/04 is also the Marshall Distributing part number.

Usually dealers will sell them individually.

Polaris part number is 3130015.

But then again, there's no diaphragm in the re-build kit either :( I got lucky and found a dual outlet pump in my parts collection that works :)

Post by: jimvw57 on April 03, 2014, 08:43:28 AM: careful with that dual outlet fuel pump. on Invaders and Intruders, the carbs sit lower tan the gas tank which can cause the fuel to siphon into the motor if the needle and seats are weak. The Kawi pump has an extra anti siphon valve built into the pump to avoid this.

Post by: 58Evinrude on April 03, 2014, 10:58:47 AM: Would that anti syphon valve be part of a black diaphragm, that is under spring pressure? sorry, I don't have a pic of it, but it wasn't included in the rebuild kit. I'm not keeping that pump on it anyways, it was just a quick fix to get the machine running. If I can't find the right pump, I'll put a fuel shut-off on it.

Are you sure that your pump is a real Kawi pump? The rebuild kits are LLP #07-417 and these still need to have 1 hole added the a diaphram.

That's the one!! Now if I could find one in Canada, it would be great. Sorry, I can't justify spending $20 on shipping for an $8 part, especially when mailing that shouldn't be more than 3 or 4 bucks. I can buy a complete brand new pump for $35.00
